Since Forever

Hi,
Sorry everyone but I have not had the energy to post blogs. The last time I posted was after we went to beligum I lot of things has happened then. I went to the Weihnactsmarkt, had christmas with the family and now it is almost new year.
Now the Chirstmas market was fun. I went two times there. Once with my Au pair friends and once by myself.On December 6th Sinterklass I came down as usual and found a Saint Nickolas after eight.I then worked and then I went to the Aupair meeting. At the meeting we stayed at the Cafe in the Volkhochshule and talked. Then we went to the Christmas market. At the christmas market we drank Glühwein and it tasted good.Through it was raining at the christmas market it was still fun. Then people started to leave but for three au pairs and me. I stayed and went to the bookstore and bought some chocolate. On December 7th a friday I stayed at home. Makus had made dinner before he went to Dusseldorf with Silvia so I feed and brought the children to bed. On December 8th I woke up but the other were not there. When they came home we had lunch and then went to get a tree. At the tree farm we had Glühwien and kid punch. Then we went a animal petting zoo and feed the horses. Then went back to the house had dinner. I went after dinner to the Christmasmarket. I bought chocolate and a pair of gloves for my normaly cold hands. By the way it is freezing here.
On Christmas eve we went to Thomas and Steffi it was a normal day before I still had to work. At Thomas and Steffi the christ kid comes instead of Santa Claus and we open presents. I got a three day trip to Venice from Silvia, Markus and the kids. I also got a candle. On Christmas day we went down for lunch at Markus parents place. We ate and opened more presents. I got there from the parents of Markus chocolate(you can't go wrong there) and a travel perfume bottle of Channel number 5. Then as we were going down the stairs I sprained my foot. Blaugh I hate it when that happens. We went to Sitas and had soup with rabbit in it and again opened presents. I got a travel bag with shampoo and conditioner and so on. On and of course on Christmas eve I talked to my family.

- By the way who ever heard of the Chirstmas pickle of germanys tradition it is wrong. It is more popular in the united states not in germany.

After Belgium

Okay so, Since we came back from Belgium everything has been normal. Wake up, take care of the Jolan, have lunch, then either go to school or relax. But in December I have lost of stuff that I am doing. So on December 6 is Sinterklass, and an Au pair meeting. By the way an Au pair meeting ( class) is just a meeting for exchange students and Au pairs to meet and learn the city. This one we are going to be at the Christmas market. We are going to try this type of wine and do other fun things. I will be sure of telling you what happened. So that is it everyone. Thanksgiving was a normal day as we do not celebrate it here in Germany. Happy late Thanksgiving. ( I will translated this when i have time.)

Okay so, Seit wir zuruck von Beligie alle ist normal. Aufwaken, pass auf Jolan, haben mitagessen, Dann zum Schule gehen oder ausruhen. Aber im Dezember, Ich hat viele Siebensachen zum getun. So am Deyember 6 ist Sinterklass, und an Au pair treffen. nebenbei ein Au Pair treffen(klasse) ist just eine Treffe fur Austauschstudenten und Au pair zum treffen und die Stadt lernen. Beligum

So on Friday I woke up at the normal time of 7:00(aah I hate that time). Took care of Jolan. Markus had dropped of Jasper at the Kindergarten while Silvia went to Dusseldorf. On ten thirty we went to pick up Jasper. Then we drove to Dusseldorf and picked Silvia up. Then we drove to Beligum. Saturday I went to Brussels. I walked around a bit. Found a museum for Costumes and Lace. I also had a small tour of a chocolate place. Then I went back. Sunday I went to Brugge. That was so fun. I went on a boat tour. Then went to lunch. Then went to a chocolate place again. Then I went back to Mechlechen. I went in to a Restaurant and had a glass of white wine. Then I went to call Silvia and Markus.
I found out that they went to the same restaurant that I was in while I was calling. Markus came and got me. We stayed at the restaurant and I had another glass of white wine. Then we left to go to Silvias mother place.(which was where we were sleeping. Monday we went downtown. We went grocery and children clothes shopping. We then went home and i went to school. Then I went to bed after getting home from school and talking with mom.

Ich hat gefunden, das Silvia und Markus hat zum die gleich Restuant sind, solange ich wat Sie rufen. Wir bleiben bei die Restraunt und ich hat ein anderere glas weiss wine trinken. Dann wir zuruck zum Silvias Mutter haus( Wir schlafuen da). Am Montag wir sind zum Mechlen. Wir haben zum Lebensimittle und Kinderkleidung eingekaufen.Wir sind dann nach haus gehen und ich hat zum Schule gegang. Ich hat dann zum Haus gegang und ich im bett gegang nach mit Mutter redden.

this week and weekend.

Hello,
So this week is going to be busy. Today I had to go to the Auslanderbehoder. I got my visa after going there four times. Tomorrow really early in the morning Silvia will go to Stuttgart. I will be here with Markus who is sick. I will look after the kids. Silvia is gone for two days. Wednesday I have class. Thursday I have the Au pair meeting which is once a month. I will Finally meet the other Au pairs here in Essen. Then Friday Silvia goes to Dusseldorf. Markus, the kids and I will go pick her up and go to Belgium.
In Belgium we go to Brussels. I will take a city tour there. I will also go to Bruge. I am think about taking a boat tour of Bruge. Supposedly Bruge is a very pretty city( the Venice of northern Europe).And the chocolate city. Do not worry I will have chocolate in Belgium. Speaking of Belgium. I have tasted chocolate with nuts and chili. It is actually pretty good. ( I will write the German translation later)

Hello

I went to class monday. The name of the class was 1.2. The class was so simple that after that I went home and called my Au pair teacher. But imagine this they wanted to put me in an even lower class than this. Wednessday I went to another class called 2.1 and this was way better. They have no book beacuse the people in the class went pass the book in like two lessons. Now the teacher is photocopying and bringing in some lessons. Wednessday is Halloween and I must go out of the house. Thursday is my day off. Friday the Kindergarten is closed so I must look after both kids.
In November we are going to Beligum for four days.
Im Deutsch
Ich hat am Montag zum Klasse gegang. Die name für die Klasse war 1.2. Die Klasse war so einfach , nach die Klasse ich hat zum Haus gegang. Dann I hat meine Au Pair Lehrin angeruft. Aber Dises war die zweiten Klasse Sie mochten mir die andrerer war sehr einfach fur mich. Mitwoch Ich hat zum an andrere Klasse names 2.1 und dieses war besser. Jeztz Die Leher ist photocopying und binging im für die Klasse. Mitwoch ist Haloween und ich muss gehen raus. Donnerstag ist meine Tage auf. Fritage Dis Kindergarten ist geschloss so muss ich biede Kinder aufpassen.

Today

Today was a tiring day for me. Silvia was away the whole day, in Dusseldorf, from 7:15- 4:00 pm. I was taking care of Jolan the whole day. I also went and picked up Jasper. Okay here is my day( today). I woke up at 6:45.Got up and so on. Went down to be at there place at 7:15. Silvia and Jasper left to take Jasper to the kindergarten. I went to be with Jolan. I ate breakfast. Played with Jolan. Put Jolan to bed a nine twenty. He fell asleep at nine twenty five. Dusted everywhere ( Jasper had a allergy to dust so they are keeping it very clean). Went to get Jolan when he woke. During the time he was sleeping I was dusting and getting ready for an outing. Jolan woked at 11:30. We caught the bus to go to Jasper's Kindergarten. Picked him up and went to the Spielplatz. Ate there for Lunch. Jasper and Jolan played there then Jolan and I took Jasper back to Kindergarten. We went back to the house. I vaccumed the kitchen and cleaned the dishes. Then we went to pick Jasper up to Kindergarten again. Came back when Silvia was here. So that was my day today. Which is not normal.

School

So a few days ago on a thursday. I went to the Volkschule. I signed up for two classes. A German class and an Au pair class. Today was supposely my first day of class. But they had a field trip today. Oh well I will be there wednessday. I would like to warn my friends in California that I will not be going back to California. I will be living with my Mom.

The Last few day.

Thursday dad called me and told me about the train strike. I was so excited to know he was coming either Friday night or Saturday morning. On Friday I woke up normally at the god awful time of seven o clock in the morning. I went through the day as usually but for getting calls from dad. I told him that of course I want to see him that night. He came over at meet my family here but the kids. Jolan was sick and both were in in bed or we were not at my house when they were up. On Friday night we talked a bit with Sylvia and Markus. Then we head down to an alt part of the town. We had some dinner real German dinner Zweibelrostbroten. It was so good. Then we went to pick up the books Ygrayne sent me. (thanks so much for the books) What about the book So worthy my Love? I hope everyone is fine over there. Then dad sent me home in a taxi.
On Saturday we went to the Kruppe house called Villa Hügel. There was tons of exhibitions. Kruppe the main one who built Villa Hügel built U boats for the Germans. He also made train wheels, and so on out of still. It was so big yet pretty. The garden was a forest itself. After eating a bratwurst with senf ( mustard) by the sea. We went back to the Villa to see the rest of it. We also went to Dusseldorf. The altstadt part of it. We walked around and looked at the monuments and other things. Then we had dinner in the altstadt( that was a good dinner ). Let me tell you, you do not know an open shopping spot for anything. The atmosphere was amazing. Santana Row has nothing on Europe at least Germans. Dad took pictures but the only picture of the two of us is in the train station. By the way I was so busy traveling and having fun that I did not realize how much I missed all of you till i hugged dad. I miss all of you.

In Essen

Hi everyone.
Sorry about not being able to keep you up to date. I could not get on the computer for five days. I am now in Essen. I left Dusseldorf to go to Essen yesterday. This family has two sons, a thirteen month old and a three year old. Their names are Jasper and Jolan. I have been here the whole day. We went to a Medieval fair today(a small one). The shops were open today but then it is an National holiday here in Germany on Wednesday.

So

I am at the agent's house right now. It is a nice house. I have my own room. With a T.V., and computer. I am filling out paperwork for the agent to become an Au pair for the agency. I asked to look around more at the families that she has. She is going to tell the family with the little girl to keep looking around. It is in a small village near Bonn. The first day I was here. We went to visit the family's horses. Then we went to Tier park. Where we walked around with some friends(theirs). They had a little boy who I think is around two and a little girl around six. We ended with a BBQ with the friends. The next day we had another BBQ. This time with the Fathers mother and father. Today I did my homework and went out with Heike to go shopping sort of. Hope everything is fine with you guys. Send me an email or something.

Here

Okay so...
I told you I was staying a week here till Friday. I talked to an au pair agent. I was offered a place to stay for two weeks. I meet this nice family. They have a five year old daughter named Annabel. They live in a flat. The daughter does tons of activities. Piano, and so forth. she likes playing with puzzles. When I meet Annabel she hugged me. she actually did not want me to leave. So hopefully I get the contract. Otherwise everything is fine. Valerie Call me or send me an email with your phone number so we can talk.

Decsion

I am still looking for a new family. sorry everybody, for not saying The family I was vistiting is letting me stay here for a week.

Since last time

So,
The last time I put up a blog. I had just checked in to City Apart hotel. I stayed both nights there. Today( friday) I went to Bonn. This family is more relaxed about the cleaning. They agreed that the Lebens family needs an cleaning lady plus they also said they the lebens were not supposed to put me to work as in cleaning. The children are nice here. They are two and three. The boy is three and the girl is two. We are going to talk about if we want to be in a contract Sunday. So... I will tell you yes or no then.

right now

So I left monday morning both for Koln and the Lebens Family. I went to Koln and the family I was supposed to meet did not come at all. So... I sleept at the Train station. Then Tuesday morning I went back to Krefeld to figure where to sleep. I went to Dusseldorf and sleept at a hotel. Today I went back to Krefeld and grabbed my other suitcases. I am now at Dusseldorf. I am at the Hotel City Apart for two nights.

Konigsborg

So I left around eight o clock. We went and bought vodka. Both Hanna and Mariam brought juice. We drink the vodka and juice near the Konigsborg. When we finished around ten thirty drinking the vodka. We then went into the Konigesborg. It was not as full as the last time we went in. We danced and drank. Mariam went around two o clock in the morning. Hanna and I stayed at the Disco till five o clock in the morning. We got home around six o clock. We then had to get up at ten o clock in the morning. So basically we had around four hours of sleep. We went shopping.

This and That

So yesterday I went out after nine o clock and meet Hanna and a new au pair girl named Mariam. We walked around and I got money. Thanks mom for helping find one. We have walked past it almost every day.
Today I am going to the Konigesburg again. This time we are showing Mariam and hopefully Oceana the disco. I will tell you all about this tomorrow. I will not leave till nine thirty seven my time.

good times to call

Hi,
People keep asking me when it is okay to call. The best time (my time which is nine hour ahead) is six or seven o clock to eleven o clock. This is seven thirty am to about two o clock pm in your time . My number for this week is 49 2151-501215. I might not be here during the weekend which includes friday.Unless I agree on a time during the weekend in which you are going to call.

So

I just started using AIM, express. So if anyone wants to talk in IM. The houses in this area where I live are mostly rich people. The houses are not right next to each other. We have a big garden. Downtown is kinda of like San Francisco and where I live is kinda of like SC.

Hey

Sorry about not doing this for a while but I am so busy working in this house and all.So people wanted to know about my soundings: I live by a stadwald. In the Stadwald there is a Biergarten, a horse stables, an golf place, a play area. Also in the Stadwald is a sea ( kind off) in which you can rent a boat. The Kindergarten is just the next street over. The weather is kinda like San Francisco.
Okay another thing people wanted to know is my schedule (Oma). I get up in the morning around seven. I make coffee and milk. I set the table. Then after words depending on the day I take Salome to the Kindergarten, Vacuum twice a week the whole house. I also wet clean once a week. clean the bathroom. the normal kitchen work. So basically I am mostly at home all day except for when I go out at night and when I take Salome to and from Kindergarten. That is usually around eight and twelve.
I have been looking for a new family as you know. I have been in contact with two families. One of them lives near Cologne , they have twin 17 months. The other one lives near Frankfurt and they have a ten month old son.
well I have to go to bed now.

Bad News

The family I told you about talked to their aupair right now and found out that she wanted to extend the contract to January. So now I am looking again.

Test Day

So everything went well today with the test day. I had to be there at three thirty. I left around two thirty. Sandra was baking cakes all day so I could not do the bread. It was Stefan's birthday today. I did not wash the dishes after lunch ,I had to go to the test day. I got the job. I move in on September 15th. They still have another Aupair till September 28th. So this aupair will show me how they do it there. They use both washer and dryer at their house.

Dad What is going on with October? Have you alread quit the job already? What is the name of the Company you are going to work for?
Okay here we go. One of my possible family has twins, a boy and a girl. The girl has a disability. The twins were born in June of this year. The live in Meerbursh not that far from Krefeld or Dusseldorf. The want me to do no cleaning or Ironing. The want me for the kids; feeding them, changing their diappers and so on.

Things that happend.

So,
I have been having some trouble with the chemistry with my host family. I have been looking for a new family and this time a less broader requirments. I have had fun otherwise. I have meet a nice Aupair from Finland named Hanna. We have been doing a lot together, Going to Discos, Bars, Cafes. We went to Dusseldorf this Saturday. This Monday I will be going to a test day for a new family.
